By splitting Transcona in two along Kildare, we acheive the maximum pickup frequency with a single route.. The city presently spreads out its service between Regent, Kildare, and McMeans, but the effect is often to trade at most a ten-minute walk (our plan) for a five-minute walk plus a twenty-minute wait (the present system). We have twenty busses on this route running five minutes apart, for an average wait of 2.5 minutes.
