The Pembina Highway bus route splits in two at University Crescent. One half covers Waverly Heights and the other branch goes to Fort Richmond. These are neighborhood routes. The University traffic is handled by a special express shuttle: four busses running every three minutes nonstop between the campus center and the junction of Pembina and University Crescent. The Pembina route itself needs twenty-four busses to maintain five minute service to downtown. Because the Pembina bus branches into the neighborhoods at University Crescent, traffic on Pembina Highway south of that junction is covered by the St Norbert regional feeder.
